Carcass- Heartwork(1994)This a phenomenal album, I feel like they don't get thrown into the mix when discussing bands that originated melodic death metal, but this album to me is an excellent album of early melodic death metal. If you like or have heard of Arch Enemy, you're in luck. Michael Amott, the lead guitarist of Arch Enemy is/was the lead guitarist of Carcass, but I have to warn you, the riffs on this album will be stuck in your head for a very long time.
